Qassim University, in collaboration with SEEC, organized a workshop titled "Reducing Energy Consumption in Government Entities." The workshop, attended by several university staff members, was held at the auditorium of the College of Applied Medical Sciences in the university's main campus.
During the workshop, Badr Al-Shahri, Public Awareness and Relations Officer at SEEC, covered several key topics, including energy consumption in the Kingdom and the most energy-intensive sectors. Al-Shahri provided tips and guidelines for reducing energy consumption in government entities, emphasizing the importance of improving the efficiency of air conditioning, lighting, and government vehicles.
Dr. Talal Al-Harbi, a faculty member at the College of Engineering, highlighted the role of institutions in conserving energy and the importance of awareness about energy-saving methods and investing in high-efficiency devices. Dr. Al-Harbi pointed out that Qassim University aims to achieve high energy efficiency and is committed to research and development in new technologies to address consumption issues.
These efforts reflect the commitment of Qassim University and SEEC to achieving sustainable development and improving energy consumption efficiency in the government sector, in line with Saudi vision to enhance environmental sustainability and energy efficiency
