His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, sponsored the launch ceremony of the "Kids to Last" project organized by the National Energy Efficiency Campaign "Built to Last," one of the initiatives and programs of SEEC, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. The ceremony took place at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) in Riyadh, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan.

The project targeted children aged 4 to 12 years and included segments and presentations entirely conducted by children. The event was attended by a number of dignitaries and officials from both the public and private sectors.

The "Kids to Last" project focuses on several key messages: increasing awareness about the importance of energy in the Kingdom and its role in prosperity and development, fostering a sense of responsibility in energy consumption, encouraging energy efficiency, and understanding the impacts of various energy consumption patterns. The project also aims to teach children energy-saving methods and behaviors.

Additionally, awareness programs, cartoon series, and mobile exhibitions will be launched across various cities in the Kingdom, aiming to educate children in an engaging manner appropriate for their ages, using modern tools and methods to teach them optimal consumption behaviors.

This project reflects the commitment of SEEC and the Ministry of Education to increase awareness among the younger generations to achieve sustainable development in the Kingdom
