Introduction:
SEEC aims to create the environment for service providers and beneficiaries in this promising market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure the quality of energy efficiency service providers. This will be through the application of the licensing system for those interested in investing in this field after satisfying the technical requirements necessary to provide the service. The license enables them to engage in commercial EE activities approved by the National Directory of Commercial Activities (ISIC 4), and obtain investment opportunities available in energy auditing projects, retrofit projects in government or private facilities, as well as enhance the EE consumption in industrial facilities, see more
Licensing Energy Audit Service Providers
This license is related to auditing EE, auditing facility entire consumption, identifying the energy conservation opportunities, measurement methods and verification techniques in accordance with the technical standards adopted in the National Measurement and Verification Manual, and providing recommendations and possible solutions for energy savings.

Measurement and Verification National User Guide:
SEEC has adopted the National Measurement and Verification User Guide as a technical reference for EE projects in the Kingdom. It explains the mechanism for measuring and verifying energy savings to ensure the rights of all parties involved in the project, whether providers or beneficiaries.
Pilot Project for Energy Auditing in Commercial Facilities:
Commercial sector is one of the highest energy consumptions in the Kingdom, accounting for 15.7% of the total energy consumption of facilities in the Kingdom. Due to the absence of a clear activity of EE projects to serve this sector, the pilot project to improve EE in the commercial sector has been worked on with the aim of increasing the awareness of business owners of the opportunities to improve energy efficiency through the implementation of energy auditing projects with level 1 energy auditing standards and level 2 energy auditing standards.
