(We Replaced It... #Choose_Your_Color) Campaign to Entrench Energy Label
#To_Last, the national campaign to rationalize energy consumption, concludes its awareness campaigns this year with the campaign (We_Replaced_It… #Choose_Your_Color), which was launched and extends over the current October. It is specialized in new energy efficiency labels for electrical appliances with levels of red up to green, with the aim of entrenching awareness of the concept of the new energy efficiency labels, and alerting consumers to change the old label with stars, to consolidate the shape of the labels and ease its understanding. This campaign complements the awareness campaigns supervised by SEEC since 2014, among of several efforts and initiatives implemented by SEEC in partnership with several government agencies working as one system within a national program aimed at controlling the increase in energy consumption in the Kingdom in accordance with a unified vision and strategy contributes to reducing excessive energy consumption. SEEC aims, through (#To_Last) campaigns, to raise awareness about the importance of rationalizing energy consumption in the Kingdom, and to provide guidance that enables citizens to reduce their monthly consumption at home and in the vehicles, they use and the financial burdens resulting from this consumption by choosing electrical appliances and vehicles that are more efficient and rational for consumption and follow behaviors that ensure the reduction of consumption. Just as previous #To_Last awareness campaigns, (We_Replaced_It…#Choose_Your_Color) campaign aims to reach all society groups in the Kingdom, by spreading its awareness messages through several different media: through road billboards, the most prominent programs in satellite TV channels and radio, social networks, famous websites on the Internet, and mobile applications as well as mobile awareness exhibitions.
