  • • Develop national energy efficiency programs and identify indicators and targets
  • • Proposing energy efficiency systems projects.
  • • Issuing technical regulations, standards and procedures that achieve energy efficiency.
  • • Contribute to the development of standards to achieve energy efficiency.
  • • Contribute to the management of energy efficiency card program.
  • • Licensing and qualifying energy efficiency service providers.
  • • Establishing the necessary rules for energy efficiency tests.
  • • Provide technical and advisory services in the field of energy audit, measurement and verification.
  • • Preparation and dissemination of the National Manual for Measurement and Verification of Energy Efficiency Services
  • • Monitoring compliance with energy efficiency standards.
  • • Obtain information and documents related to energy efficiency and prepare periodic reports.
  • • Encouraging studies, research, investment and financing in energy efficiency.
  • • Establish and adopt vocational and training programs and develop energy efficiency curricula and activities in higher and vocational education.
  • • Organizing exhibitions, conferences, programs, seminars and awareness raising on energy efficiency.
  • • Conduct international communication and cooperation, memorandums of understanding and agreements.
