Saudi Energy Efficiency Center welcomes thousands of visitors in his wing awareness at the Janadriya Festival 1439 Hijri

In its participation in the activities of the National Festival of Heritage and Culture in Al-Janadriyah in its 32rd edition in 1439H, Saudi Energy Efficiency Center welcomed thousands of visitors from different age groups in its awareness and induction corners in the building of Energy System. The Awareness Corner included many sections of Energy Saving in sectors of Constructions, Transportation and Industrial transportation, with a review of awareness and procedural messages along with a set of specific behaviors to rationalize and increase the efficiency of energy consumption.

The Center's participation this year was characterized by the dissemination of energy-saving messages and behaviors through everyday practices in home, vehicle, school and university along with using innovative methods to explain the behaviors, methods and interactive tools. There was a special section in the Corner that shows "Ta'akkad" app (Be Sure), to confirm the energy info on the cards. There is also a female-oriented women team, a special section for children, a recreation area and games.

This year, the Center participated in an induction section under the umbrella of Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, which was inaugurated by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guardian King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud who toured among the company's facilities in addition to Saudi Aramco, Saudi Electricity Company, King Abdullah City for Atomic and renewable Energy, The Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), Saudi Geological Survey, Ma'aden, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, Saudi Industrial Development Fund, King Abdullah Center for Education, The National Program for the Development of Industrial Clusters, the Saudi Export Development Authority, and the Saudi Organization for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON).

تم إنشاء المركز بقرار مجلس الوزراء الموقر رقم 363 وتاريخ 24 ذو القعدة 1431هـ القاضي بتحويل البرنامج الوطني (المؤقت) لإدارة وترشيد الطاقة بمدينة الملك عبدالعزيز للعلوم والتقنية إلى مركز وطني دائم في إطار التنظيم الإداري للمدينة يسمي “المركز السعودي لكفاءة الطاقة” يرتبط مباشرة برئيس المدينة، ويشرف على المركز لجنة إدارية برئاسة رئيس مدينة الملك عبدالعزيز للعلوم والتقنية وعضوية ممثلين لعدد من الجهات ذات العلاقة .
